It might be hard to find a card with lowest interest rate when someone has no credit history. However, there are many options and I think the site below might be able to help you. They have 100s of cards that can be applied online.
I am a divorcee and have both a foreclosure and bankruptcy on my credit report. I have a credit score less than 600 and I received a small balance credit card from Capital One and HSBC. I’ve had the Capt One for a couple years now but I just got the HSBC. I would try them both. Although credit requirements are tightening due to the current state of the market you may still qualify. The Cap One has an annual fee but otherwise they have been good to me.
There are still finance companies that believe that everyone deserves a second chance.
